Frequently asked questions
Is AI development compatible with the GDPR?
Yes, if it is considered from the start. I use providers with EU data centres and a data processing agreement, models that don't use your data for training, or self-hosted open-source models. The final legal review lies with your legal advisor.
Which AI models do you use?
That depends on the use case: models from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google or Mistral, as well as open-source models such as Llama. I build the solution so the model can be swapped later, without locking you into a single provider.
Can AI be integrated into our existing software?
In most cases, yes. Via APIs I connect AI features to existing websites, web apps, CRMs or internal tools, whether they are built with Node.js, PHP, Python or Java.
How do you prevent the AI from giving wrong answers?
It can't be ruled out entirely, but it can be reduced significantly: answers are based on your own sources and cite them, critical steps are approved by a human, and test cases check the quality with every change.
How much does an AI project cost?
A focused prototype can usually be delivered as a fixed-price project. On top come ongoing usage costs for the model, which I estimate for you upfront. You receive a detailed quote after a free intro call.
